Fry onion and bacon in butter. Add flour, stir for a few seconds, then add soup and cream and stir until combined and thickened. Add asparagus cuts or steamed fresh asparagus, and chicken. Stir until heated through, and serve.

- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 60 grams bacon (chopped)
- 60 grams butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 125 millilitres cream
- 440 grams asparagus soup
- 440 grams fresh green asparagus (steamed) (or use tin asparagus cuts)

- 4 fluid ounces cream
- 15½ ounces asparagus soup
