Ginger Syrup Biscuits

Lovely delicately scented buttery biscuits. This is my own recipe. I use these as the base for my ginger and lime cheesecake.


Serves: 30

  • 170 grams all-purpose flour
  • 113 grams unsalted butter (really soft)
  • 57 grams superfine sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ginger syrup


Ginger Syrup Biscuits is a community recipe submitted by KitchenGoddess and has not been tested by so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.

  • In KA or by hand (really easy by hand) cream the butter and sugar together until pale and fluffy.
  • Add the ginger syrup and mix in well.
  • Sift in the flour and mix in, beat well until fluffy again.
  • Put the bowl in the fridge covered with clingwrap and allow to set (around 30minutes).
  • Using teaspoon size (ish) amounts make the biscuits, I don't roll them just splodge them onto the lined baking tray and press down a bit.
  • Bake at gas 5 for around 15 minutes or until golden brown, Makes around 30 biscuits.
