Onion Chutney

Fry onions in oil until lightly browned and soft, this should take 10 minutes on a low flame. After 5 minutes add the mustard seeds. Add all other ingredients and fry for another 5/10 minutes. That's all......its SO simple but it has so much flavour!
Introduction
This chutney goes great with any curry, or you can eat it on cheese on toast...yummy!

Ingredients
Serves: 4
- onions (not red)
- oil (for frying)
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 tablespoon mango chutney
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 red chilli (if you like it hot)

How long will this keep if I make a batch and put in jars?
One has to have an idea of how many onions are needed in this recipe. I find it strange not to put the quantityas it must be different in relation to the rest of the spices !
