Tarte Au Sucre (Sugar Pie)

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Combine the maple sugar, brown sugar, cream, egg, flour and butter in a mixing bowl and stir to blend. Pour the mixture into the pie shell and bake until golden brown, about 25 minutes. Remove from oven and cool for 5 minutes before serving. Slice the pie into individual servings and serve warm.
Introduction
This is Emeril's recipe which I use. Sugar pie is rich, dense and sweet. It reminds me of eating a piece of fudge.

- 1 cup maple sugar
- 1 cup soft light brown sugar
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 pie shell (unbaked)
