Introduction

Called Italian only because the ingredients are red, white and green and not because there's anything Italian about it!!! Easy to rustle up in easy stages, cheap, sooooo tasty and very filling!

Ingredients

Serves: -

Metric Cups
  • 1 chicken breast (diced)
  • 150 grams pasta (any shapes)
  • broccoli (blanch small florets)
  • red peppers (strips)
  • 1 chicken breast (diced)
  • 5⅓ ounces pasta (any shapes)
  • broccoli (blanch small florets)
  • red bell peppers (strips)

Method

Italian Chicken and Pasta is a community recipe submitted by PurpleGirl and has not been tested by Nigella.com so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.

  • Mix all above and put in oven proof tray.
  • Make 2 x bechamel sauce (Nigella's recipe from HTE) and grate in a little cheese. A hint of cheese is what I'm after. It wasn't meant to be a real strong cheese sauce.
  • Pour over the mix and pop in a medium oven for 20 mins.
  • When slightly golden and bubbly tuck in. Great with garlic bread and salad and a nice white wine.
