Seafood Bisque

This is a great soup when the winter snow hits!


Serves: 2

  • 500 millilitres heavy cream (heavy)
  • 125 millilitres milk
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • ¼ kilogram crab meat
  • ¼ kilogram lobster meat
  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • salt
  • pepper
  • grated cheddar cheese

  • In a heavy bottomed saucepan combine all ingredients.
  • Turn heat to medium-low and simmer for several hours, stirring frequently.
  • Additional Information

    Bisque will be thin, but should thicken as it cools. If still too thin, disolve some cornstarch in small amount of milk, then add to bisque to thicken.
