Blueberry Sauce

Introduction

I first tried this on top of some homemade waffles and it was delicious, but I'm sure it would taste equally as good on anything else that you would want to put a sweet sauce on.

Ingredients

Serves: 4-6

  • 500 blueberries
  • 63 granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Method

  • Combine the blueberries, sugar and lemon juice in a medium saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil, then simmer for 8-10 minutes, or until most of the blueberries have burst.

    I think it's best served warm or hot and reheats very well.
