For the Cake

  • 200 grams caster sugar
  • 65 millilitres milk
  • 30 grams butter (melted)
  • 140 grams self-raising flour
  • 385 grams canned apples (pie filling)

For the Sauce

  • 100 grams caster sugar
  • 125 millilitres fresh cream
  • 5 millilitres caramel essence

For the Cake

  • 2 eggs
  • 7 ounces superfine sugar
  • 2 fluid ounces milk
  • 1 ounces butter (melted)
  • 4⅞ ounces self-rising flour
  • 13⅗ ounces canned apples (pie filling)

For the Sauce

  • 3½ ounces superfine sugar
  • 4 fluid ounces fresh cream
  • fluid ounce caramel essence
