This month’s Cookalong is Rose and Pepper Pavlova with Strawberries and Passionfruit. The meringue base has black pepper and rosewater gently folded into it. The strawberries for the pavlova topping are macerated, or soaked, in the juice of the passionfruit with a little sugar, before being spooned over the softly whipped cream. When you’ve perfected your pavlova, take a photograph, add your caption, then send it to us, and you will then be in the running to win a signed book of Nigella’s. We will upload your entry, and will announce the winner at the beginning of next month.
