For the Pasta

  • penne pasta
  • canadian bacon
  • frozen peas
  • onions
  • olive oil
  • ricotta cheese
  • grated Parmesan
  • red peppers (crushed)

For the Bechamel Sauce

  • butter
  • flour
  • milk
  • nutmeg
  • salt
  • pepper

  • Cook pasta to al dente
  • Julienne onions and ham and cook in olive oil until tender Add crushed red pepper
  • Bechamel sauce: butter, flour cook together a few min add milk, fresh nutmeg, salt pepper, add ricotta and parmesan mix to create a cheese sauce
  • Mix all ingredients together with drained pasta in a pot and add frozen peas
  • Cook together stirring until peas thaw, then serve.
