my favourite version after trying lots of different ones with Italian relations
- spaghetti (good quality, thick - cook well)
- bacon (or pancetta or ham)
- Parmesan cheese (lots)
- fresh parsley (flat leaf or curly)
- 3 eggs
- pepper (lots)
- mushrooms (soaked porchini works well)
