Metric Cups
  • 225 grams self-raising flour
  • 125 grams margarine
  • 125 grams brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 300 millilitres milk
  • 1 banana (diced)
  • 7⅞ ounces self-rising flour
  • 4⅖ ounces margarine
  • 4⅖ ounces brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 11 fluid ounces milk
  • 1 banana (diced)

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180C/Gas 4.
  • Grease a 12 muffin tin or line each with a muffin case
  • Cream the marg and sugar together. Beat in the egg. Add flour, baking powder and milk.
  • Gently stir until all ingredients are combined. Don't over mix. Stir in diced banana
  • Spoon into prepared tin Bake for 15 to 20 minutes Cool on a wire tray.
