This month’s Cookalong features Nigella’s Raspberry and Lemongrass Trifle, the most English of desserts, and one that involves some layering up to create your pudding. Make a syrup to douse your trifle sponges in, leaving out the vodka if you need to, but just make sure your sponges don’t require a little extra syrup. You could also use your own homemade cake or sponge rather than shop bought trifle sponges if you wish. And lastly, if a trifle type bowl is difficult to find, then do make individual glass dishes - it’s up to you. Once you have created your Raspberry and Lemongrass trifle, take a photograph, add your caption, then send it to us, and you will be in the running to win a signed book of Nigella’s.
