This month’s Cookalong is especially for St Patrick’s Day, but as Mother’s Day falls around the same time in the Northern Hemisphere, this is the perfect cake to celebrate with - it’s Nigella’s super-popular Chocolate Guinness Cake! This is a rich, dark cake topped with a cream cheese icing, made simply by stirring and melting the batter in a pan before baking. Once cooled the cake is iced on top with a classic cream cheese icing made to look like the frothy head of a Guinness. So, get baking, photograph your cake, add your caption, then send it to us, and you will then be in the running to win a signed book of Nigella’s.
